WILD DOGS Reform, Plan Fall Dates
September 18, 2002Portland, Oregon's WILD DOGS are back on the active list and are planning their first series of live shows this fall.
Presently consisting of Jeff Mark (guitars),Dann Kurth (bass),Tom Moller (drums) and Matthew McCourt (vocals),the group are scheduled to issue in December a 17-song CD entitled Beyond The Reign Of Terror containing the songs that were projected to be included on the follow-up to 1987's Reign Of Terror.
"Its just what the doctor ordered," stated McCourt. "After playing with [former drummer] Deen [Castronovo]'s son Kyle on drums last year, we realized what we do best is go out and slay audiences. We wanna go to Europe and finally make a live appearance there..and I miss fronting the band with these guys. This was the lineup that toured and recorded in 1989-94. In fact, we had a hard time figuring out if it was Deen or Tom on drums on the tapes we found so we credit them both for every song. [laughs] We are all looking forward to this and made a deal that we'd get our show together and just go play dates as they come in."
Exact dates and venues for WILD DOGS' comeback tour will be announced soon.
